TWC has been purchased

Multiple media outlets are reporting that NBC Universal has agreed to purchase Atlanta, Georgia based "The Weather Channel" for 3.5 billion dollars. The purchase includes The Weather Channel's TV network, website "weather.com", W.S.I. (makers of TV Weather graphics computers), a weather radar company, and the portion of Canada's Weather Channel that TWC owns.
