...FUNNEL CLOUD REPORTED NEAR WOODBURN IN MARION COUNTY...

AT 547 PM PDT THE PUBLIC REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD 5 MILES SOUTH OF
WOODBURN IN MARION COUNTY AND THEN LOST SIGHT OF IT SHORTLY AFTER THAT.
IT MOST LIKELY DISSIPATED SHORTLY AFTER IT FORMED. THE AIR MASS IS
UNSTABLE AND IT IS NOT UNCOMMON FOR THESE TYPES OF FUNNELS TO FORM
IN THIS WEATHER PATTERN. IT IS MUCH LESS LIKELY FOR ONE TO TOUCH
DOWN ON THE GROUND. IF THEY DO HOWEVER THEY CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

I saw all the hail, it was fun, i also remember the thunder. When i went online, they didn't mention a reported funnel cloud, strange.

Lately Central/Eastern Oregon had some nutty thunderstorm activity, hail up to golfball sized, and 60 mph winds. i hope for much more.
