The Weather Channel: Most Viewed during Gustav

The numbers are in and The Weather Channel was the most watched cable news outlet during Hurricane Gustav. According to the TV ratings people, 50 million people tuned into The Weather Channel. CNN and Fox News pulled in over 35 million as well. Over 100 million people saw some type of coverage from the cable news networks. With all the coverage of Gustav, it will be interesting to see how the networks cover storms in the future. We all tuned in to see what would happen to New Orleans. We were lucky that Gustav was not a Katrina.
